Park gear guide
Stroller / wagon alternatives & kids park pack list
With kids, Peak days are a logistics puzzle. The right wheels (or carrier) matter as much as the itinerary.
Wagon and stroller rules vary by park and can change — verify before you buy. We’re not selling park tickets or official gear.
Recommended gear
Compact umbrella stroller (lightweight)
Why it helps: Easier on long walks and tram transfers than full travel systems.
- Pros: Folds for buses/Uber more readily.
- Caveats: Less storage; not ideal for rough pavement all day for every family.

BabyBjörn / similar structured baby carrier
Why it helps: Hands-free for infants when strollers are parked far from the ride.
- Pros: Better for stairs and crowd weaves.
- Caveats: Heat — use with sun protection and breaks.

Foldable wagon (only if your park allows)
Why it helps: Hauls kids + gear across large campuses when permitted.
- Pros: High cargo utility.
- Caveats: Often restricted — confirm policy; heavier to load into cars.

Insulated kids’ snack kit / bento
Why it helps: Predictable calories beat hangry exit tears.
- Pros: Portion control; less packaging trash.
- Caveats: Ice packs may be limited at security — use frozen water bottles if allowed.

Compact water mister / kids’ cooling towel
Why it helps: Little kids overheat waiting in sun more quickly than adults.
- Pros: Low cost comfort multiplier.

Lightweight stroller fan (clip-on)
Why it helps: Airflow while the stroller is parked in sunny stroller lots.
- Pros: USB charged.

Portable white-noise / nap cover setup
Why it helps: On-the-go naps can save a Peak evening.
