SoCal rain is rarer than Florida storms, but when it hits, outdoor rides and fireworks are the first to flex.

Typical rain-day pattern

• Some outdoor attractions pause for lightning/wind/rain; indoor shows get more popular.
• Crowds sometimes thin (locals delay) — a Softish silver lining on an otherwise wet day.
• Fireworks / nighttime spectaculars may cancel; parks communicate day-of.

When to reschedule

If your must-dos are all outdoor coasters and the forecast is all-day storms, swap to another Soft day on the SoCal calendars when tickets allow.
