Height requirements mindset: measure kids before you go
Updated September 25, 2026. Posted heights at the park control boarding. Home measurements are for planning only.
Nothing spikes emotions like discovering a one-inch miss after a 40-minute wait. Plan ahead.
Do this at home
- Measure kids barefoot against a wall; write the number in your notes app.
- Browse official ride lists together and mark “yes / maybe / no” without spoilers if they’re nervous.
- Pack a backup activity (show, character, playground area) for the “no” list.
At the park
Cast/crew measurements override yours. Shoes usually stay on per local rules — don’t argue mid-queue. Use rider switch where available (overview).
Crowds & kids
Soft days reduce meltdown risk. Check LEGOLAND, Disneyland, or today before promising a marathon.
